It has been revealed that JPMorgan, one of the largest banking institutions in the global financial sector, has made a new move regarding crypto recently. Mike Kondoudis, one of the most famous patent researchers in the USA, shared on Twitter that the giant bank received a trademark registration from the authorized government agency to provide crypto wallet service.
The bank has created a new brand for its crypto service called “J.P MORGAN WALLET”. According to the statement in JPMorgan’s new trademark patent, the new trademark covers crypto payment transactions and cryptocurrency trading. This initiative is not the first breakthrough made by the giant bank for the sector.
JPMorgan makes no secret of its interest in blockchain and digital assets since its inception. JPMorgan officials loudly voiced their desire to create a “payment system like Bitcoin” nearly 10 years ago.
