The world most popular service for creating Bitcoin wallets Blockchain.info has marked a sufficient rise of users, the number of which has reached 10 million accounts. Blockchain.info, besides its main function, provides various statistical information related to Bitcoin.

Blockchain.info team said the following about the reasons of clients’ number growth:

Bitcoin has become a safe shelter in the conditions of geopolitical events, such as Brexit voting, US president elections, weakening of the Yuan, so we have marked an unprecedented level of activity and agreements on our platform as a result.

Indeed, after the Donald Trump’s victory in US presidential elections the price of Bitcoin increased to 4%. It may look paradoxical, but in the times of political instability the crypto-currency rate grows, unlike the traditional currencies rate, which evidently shows the people’s trust.

Blockchain.info representatives note that the availability of Bitcoin wallets for the mass market is the main factor of attracting more users:

Bitcoin still hasn’t become an alternative to traditional financial system, and it has a long time ahead before the society rejects banks, cash, or credit cards for crypto-currency. But we are now watching a record level of activity on our platform, which proves that people understand the necessity of choosing the most accessible financial system in the world.
