Recently, a broker company “Finam” has offered its clients the possibility of trading the Bitcoin futures contracts.

The provider of trading – Chicago Options Exchange (CBOE) – is the biggest South American player on the market of financial derivatives,

- highlights the Finam press-service announcement.

“Finam” became the first Russian broker company that has offered this service to the clients.

The absence of the secure methods of working with cryptocurrencies has caused a high demand for such service on the market. This service will allow cutting down the uncontrolled risks of loss or non-return of invested money, which are connected with the work on cryptocurrency exchanges.

Only qualified traders will be able to access the trading. The minimal volume of the contract is one Bitcoin; the validity period is one month.

The fee of “Finam” for the transaction services is 1.5 dollar, the one of the CBOE platform – 15 dollars. The code of the instrument on the exchange is XBTC.

The launching of such service shows that the company keeps up with the times. We don’t dwell upon the cryptocurrency perspectives, don’t build prognoses on when the market would collapse. We’ve just created a product that meets the needs of our clients,

- commented the event a deputy CEO of JSC “Finam” Jaroslav Diusushe.

In spite of the fact that at the moment institutional investors can invest only in Bitcoin through the futures, the American rating agency Weiss has rated Ethereum higher than Bitcoin. In the rating, published on January 24, Ethereum received a mark B and Bitcoin C+.

Although Bitcoin dominates the market and makes use of its “powerful brand,” it hasn’t received the higher rating because of the problems with transaction speed and its unreadiness to the instant code update, explained the Weiss experts.
